Family, Friends, Fun: January 2007

Anna

Anna Grace got her Kindergarten class' mascot, Mike the Monkey. She was so excited to take care of him. She even took him to dance class! Here is my cutie getting ready for dance. She now takes ballet and Jazz/hip hop and loves it!

Cub Scout Pinewood Derby!

Taylor raced a car that he and Jimmy built in the Annual race for the Boy Scouts. He won 1st place for the Tiger cubs and 2nd place for the den. He was so excited! His car is the black one with stripes. He will go on to the Regional? I am not sure, but he sure had fun!

Guess what I got suckered into?? Yep, slinging Hot Dogs! Guess I'll be prepared for baseball!!

Basketball

Taylor had his first basketball game on Saturday. It is so much fun to watch. They are pretty serious. They don't keep score, thankfully, cause I think the Crushers got, lets just say crushed! Taylor made a basket, or should I say "the" basket, as it was the only one made. They played hard and it was great fun to watch!

Stockton Thunder

Nana got us tickets for a Hockey game in Stockton. We had so much fun! The Stockton Thunder won 6 to 1. They played Bakersfield. It was their annual teddy bear toss. After the Thunder scored their first goal everyone got to throw teddy bears on the ice benefitting the United Way. The kids loved it! Check out all the teddy bears on the ice!! They estimated around 8,000. Thanks Nana for a great night out!

Happy New Years!

We celebrated New Years Eve at home. We played family Scene It (Disney version), had a wonderful dinner, and celbrated with New York (9:00 our time, shhh!) Our neighbors probably think we are nuts, banging pots at 9:00 yelling Happy New Year!! We all had a great family evening, sometimes it is just nice to be with family.

Christmas 2006

We had a Great Christmas this year! The kids are such a fun age! We spent the Saturday before Christmas at my moms house with my brother and his family, my sister and her family and one of my nieces and her family. It was a great night. Christmas Eve we spent at home with my Mom and sister and Haley and Alex. The cousins had so much fun together. Christmas Night we went to my MIL's in Stockton with all of Jim's family. We had a wonderful Christmas and were completely spoiled by everyone around us. We are very lucky to have such wonderful family and friends.
