Bike Track

Jim made a Bike track at the ranch for Taylor to ride his bike on. We went to test it out the other day. The poor guy, we had a helmet, elbow pads, knee pads, gloves...he went around once and was so upset cause he had a hard time riding with all his safety gear. I felt so bad! So, we took everyting off except his helmet and let him RIDE! He had a great time. We are starting off with baby hills and working our way up to the big hills!

The kids love riding in Jim's truck at the ranch. (See no car seats or seat belts..ugg!)

Cousin Karen

My Cousin Karen was visiting from Maryland. We went to my Uncles in Santa Rosa and spent time with her, then before she left we went to my sisters to spend even more time with her. She is just a character, so much fun to be around. I think if she lived any closer we just might get into a little trouble ;)
She has 4 grown boys and a handful of grandchildren (she doesn't even look old enough to be a grandma!) It was so great to see her! We need to see her more often!

Summer Reading Program

The Library had a great summer reading program and it all ended with a party. They had a petting zoo, snow cones, balloon animals, popcorn, a craft, and a police dog. It was a great program. The kids had fun earning prizes every week, and it kept us reading over the summer!

Balloon Animals with their friends Jaret and Cameron.

They had a craft table too!

It was a quiet Sunday Morning.......

We were just relaxing, trying to decide which sugary cereal we were going to have for breakfast, when Jim decided to get the morning paper. Much to our surprise, this is what we found!

Who could it be? Was it our birthday? Did we win the lotto? We were all excited!Hooray we have a squeeze a cheese fairy!

We soon found out it was empty!!?? What, empty?? Oh... sad!

Moral of our squeeze a cheese story...If it looks to good to be true, it probably is!
Our next project...diet coke and mentos..stay tuned.

Explorit

We went to Explorit in Davis yesterday. It is a little science exhibit. It was fun. The kids got to hold a snake, a skink (lizard) and a Madagascar hissing beetle (ewww)
They learned about the human body. We went with Stacie and Trenton and Ally. Fun.
This was taken with my new phone. I have a few more coming...

4th of July

For the 4th we had a progressive party! We went to Steph's to swim and then to Stacie's for dinner and fireworks. Thank you Stac and Steph, we had so much fun. The kids were all so good, the food was great, the company was great! I am not sure where my camera was, but I only got a couple of pictures.
